EXHIBITIONS    SIMON GREINER: KARTON GARTEN

KARTON GARTEN is a window installation of cardboard creatures. The installation is the outcome of a project and collaboration with the students of classes 1P and 3/4A at Stanmore Public School. Students participated in a workshop to design an imaginary creature, considering how its environment, diet and natural instincts would shape its features and behaviour. Based on the discussion and the students' drawings, Simon synthesised a final design and built the creatures from recycled cardboard, to populate the environment displayed in the space.
